For many years, organising expeditions through remote regions of Asia was my full-time work. Today, I have returned to that world, creating private journeys built around wildlife, photography and meaningful cultural encounters in places I know well.

These expeditions are designed for travellers who value curiosity over checklists, and time spent in a place over simply passing through it. Whether exploring Namibia’s vast landscapes or staying with Mentawai families deep inside the Siberut rainforest, every journey is shaped around genuine experiences rather than fixed itineraries.

Alongside scheduled departures, I also organise fully customised journeys in destinations I know intimately. If you’re looking for something beyond the usual routes, I’d be delighted to hear your ideas.

Experience Mentawai culture through daily life, ritual and time spent with families living deep inside Siberut’s protected rainforest.

We travel by canoe into the island’s interior, where we stay in a traditional uma and share daily life with our hosts. There is time to observe work, meals and conversations, and, when appropriate, witness rituals and ceremonies as they naturally unfold.

This is not a staged cultural performance, but a respectful journey into a living culture, shaped by relationships that have grown over more than three decades.
